Events & Schedule

Use the calendar to browse retreats and check guest availability. To join a specific retreat, simply click the registration link within the event.
Tip: We usually close for a few days of rest following a retreat.
Your Time with Us

To support your practice, we ask that you remain on the monastery grounds for the duration of your stay. By setting aside sightseeing and outside travel, you allow yourself the space to truly settle into mindfulness and the rhythm of the community.
Meals & Nourishment

We provide three healthy, mostly vegan meals each day. As a small community, we’re unable to accommodate special dietary requirements. While we aim to offer variety, you’re welcome to bring supplementary food if you have strict medical or personal needs (please note that food consumption is not permitted in the cottage).
Suggested Contributions

To cover utilities, maintenance, and 3 meals/day:
-
Adults: $70/night
-
Students: $50/night
-
Children (5–10): $35/night
Contributions above these rates are gratefully received as donations to care for the sisters. If you need financial assistance, please email the office.
NOTE - Monastery Dress Code & Packing: We invite you to dress modestly and pack mindfully to support the sacred atmosphere and our natural environment. Clothing: Loose, respectful attire covering shoulders and knees. No sleeveless or transparent tops. Weather: Often 5°C colder than Melbourne. Bring a warm jacket and thermals (essential in winter). Footwear: Sturdy shoes for nature trails (wet grass, mud, and gravel) for walking meditation. Work Wear: An extra set of clothes for outdoor mindful service. Bedding: If arriving by car, please bring your own sheets, pillowcases, and blankets/sleeping bags. This helps us conserve our limited rain and bore water. Scents: To support those with allergies, please avoid perfumes or strongly scented products.
